SECTION 6.2: OTHER ALTERNATIVES
Here are other ways you can compromise with the Privilege Club, instead of fighting them for your money:
Smaller Programs
This is something they throw at you usually when you have only paid part of your financing, so instead of giving you your money back, they will give you “something” for whatever amount of money you have paid.
So, if for example, you signed up for a 30-week program and paid off 50% of the financing, and at that point you realize how much of a pile of crap this Club thing is, they might “offer” you this reduced program (a SECOND attempt to swindle you) to just keep payments you made to date and redo everything to a 10-week contract.
We strongly suggest NOT to do this. This simply means you ARE AGREEING TO A SECOND CONTRACT, just as bad as the first one, just that now you think you got something, and are going to move away and stop pestering them.
DO NOT do this. And even if YOU ALREADY DID, ASK FOR YOUR MONEY BACK ANYWAYS. A second smaller program does NOT mean you gave up any of your rights.
Simply Moving Away
As we mentioned, we have NOT seen the Privilege Club pursue anyone for any monies owed.
If you paid little enough that you are OK with giving that money up, and do NOT want to go through the heartache of fighting for your money back, simply move away.
Call your bank, change the cards that you authorized for the Club charges (or block THEM from making any additional charges), and simply ignore their collection calls and emails until they go away.
And they will. I personally would not leave them a cent, but not anyone is as ready for payback as I am.
